Corrupted Spring Investigation

There's something fishy going on in the main New Combine camp. Each and every ballista has a badly corroded torsion spring installed. If someone was to try firing them, it wouldn't work, and worse, would likely catastrophically fail - bad news for the ballista operator. I'm going to check these springs out and run some tests to see if I can't figure out the source of the corrosion.
