In the darkest depths of the Cavern of the Afflicted I've found an ancient iron-plate shield which looks to have been long exposed to the elements of nature. Curiously, the handgrip of the shield seems to have been replaced with a large upside down iron hook, making the shield too unwieldy to use in combat.

I've found an ancient iron-plate shield in the bottom of the Cavern of the Afflicted. I should try to find out where it came from.

Replacing the shield has caused the ghost of High Lord William Taros to materialize. I should try to speak with him.
